Ecclesiastical ruins, Ardmore, Co Waterford
We camp in Ardmore regularly with our motorhome. Of course I always have my camera gear with me, so I went out on a bit of a night shoot and these 12th Centuary ruins caught my eye in the Moonlight.
Waterfall
A waterfall in the bowels of Co. Wicklow which eluded me for ages, but I got there eventually.
Carrowaystick Cottage
Carrowaystick Cottage, Glenmalure, Co Wicklow.
This is a very picturesque area of Wicklow. The Carrowaystick walking loop is a strenuous 7-8 hour walk, taking in the waterfall, mountain and cottage of the same name. The cottage is well photographed, with the little brook in the foreground. A long exposure achieves the cotton candy look on the flowing water and gives the sense of movement. A beautiful scene at any season.
