Setting sun at Dunbrody Abbey, Wexford.
Rosslare Burrow, incorporating Rosslare Golf Club. An 18 hole Championship Links & 12 Hole Burrow Links. A beautiful sight on an early summers evening. Lovely to walk around the ‘Spit’ and enjoy the wildlife.
This is the very well known Rosslare Strand, Co Wexford. Well known for Kellys resort hotel and of course around the bend is “The Gateway To Europe” Rosslare Harbour.
I’ve been after this view of Ferrycarrig for a long time now, and upon investing in a quadcopter ‘The Bird’ I was able to fulfill my dream today. This is Ferrycarrig castle just on the outskirts of Wexford town. I will of course retake this image in the summer when the trees are in bloom. Enjoy
Rosslare strand in the lovely soft light of a September evening 2016
My favourite Autumn image. This was taken in Co Wicklow and spotted with the corner of my eye as we were travelling along the road. Stopped the car and the light was just right and this image gives me great pleasure.
On an epic road trip this week we started out at 2am on Wednesday morning and returned home 21 hours later at 11pm. We travelled to The Kingdom [Co Kerry] and photographed as many landscapes as possible. The end of the trip was on Slea Head for the sunset. I took this image from the school house from the film set of Ryan’s Daughter, overlooking the Blasket Islands and The Sleeping Giant or An Fear Marbh. A fitting conclusion to an epic journey.
