The Bullring, Wexford

I was lucky enough to be able to get up to a bit of a height for this image of the Bullring in Wexford. Here is the center of Wexford town, and in it stands The Pikeman, which commemorates the 1798 insurrection. We also have the ‘market place’ where this year there is a ‘winter wonderland’ hence the elaborate lights. Also in the image is Mackens Undertakers aka The Cape..not to be mistaken…this is a thriving public house.

The image was taken on 17 December 2011 and portrays the lively hub of the town with traffic passing both ways and the general public busily going about their business. f/13 @ 25 sec exp ISO 100.
